Minutes of the (longed- for) Meeting

Date: May 5, 2008

Agenda: To make- up for the daysss we haven't been together. Basically, to end the torture.

First Stop: Pink Sisters Chapel

It has been kind of our tradition to stop by the place whenever we go anywhere around the area. The place is just so serene and anyone who goes here will surely be caught by its tranquility.

Second Stop: Pancake House

Yeah, we know there are like A LOT of Pancake House in Manila but we still opted to have our brunch here for a sentimental reason: this is where we had our FIRST DATE- which was like almost four years ago.Ü

The menu was of no use since we know exactly what to order.

Third Stop: Starbucks

This is one constant thing in our dates. Not really the caffeine, but the conversation in between sips of coffee. It was refreshing to talk about the past, remind each other of the wonderful years we spent together. However, the conversation shifted to future plans. Oh well, we love each other. The rest we'll figure out later.

Fourth Stop: Carlo's Pizza

Nearly 2 hours after our brunch, Keng was already complaining about his churning stomach. As a good girlfriend (wth?), I gave in to his plea for good pizza.

Keng finished 6 of those slices and he still wanted to try the main courses at our final stop. Which was.....

TADAH!

Last Stop: Bag of Beans

This place was featured in Cosmopolitan months ago and I really wanted to check it out. But then, Keng's sister kind of discouraged us. She saw it on her way to Batangas and described it this way: isang maliit na tindahan ng kape. So Keng and I had second thoughts about visiting the place. Good thing we followed our intuitions, though.Ü

Haayyy, it was a piece of heaven. The exclusivity, the theme, the set-up... everything just fits into our description of a perfect date place. (Nisah should definitely visit this place, too. Sis, hindi siya isang maliit na tindahan ng kopi. heheÜ)

Last, Last Stop: My Place

As usual, Keng waved at the 'adults' and headed to a 30-minute drive back to Dasma. When I reached my room, I removed everything inside my bag. From 'everything', I found a handful of receipts we had for the day. It is obviosly my duty to organize these keepsakes. By the way, due to the results of my computation of his total spendings for an entire day's date, I'm planning of taking over our 5th anniversary dinner. God, he's been such a sugar daddy for the past five years. Ü (napaka- gentleman kasi)

Comments:
OMG,that's aloooot of foood. Haha! We went to Bag of Beans on our first date (as real boyfriend-girlfriend). And yes, it is a piece of heaven. We weren't even able to finish the food. We just enjoyed the place. Hehe:)

Have you gone to Massimo's? Sa may Royal Pines? God, that place is lovely. A bit expensive, but definitely worth it:)
